These easy Turkey Cranberry Sliders are perfect for using up leftover turkey or for a quick and satisfying meal. They combine savory turkey with sweet cranberry sauce and melted cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound cooked turkey, shredded or sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese or provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the turkey evenly over the bottom rolls.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey.
  5. Place the cheese slices over the cranberry sauce.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, poppy seeds (if using), and garlic powder (if using).
  8. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the rolls are lightly golden.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use leftover chicken instead of turkey.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese like Swiss or provolone.
  • Add a sprinkle of dried thyme or sage to the butter mixture for extra flavor.
  • These sliders are great for parties or game day.
