1 lb ground beef
1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 rice paper wrappers
1 cup lettuce, shredded
1/2 cucumber, julienned
1 carrot, julienned
Instructions
In a bowl, mix ground beef, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and black pepper.
Shape the mixture into small sausage-like rolls.
Cook the beef rolls in a pan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water for 10 seconds until soft.
Place a beef roll, lettuce, cucumber, and carrot on each wrapper.
Fold the sides and roll tightly.
Serve with dipping sauce.

Use fresh Thai basil for the best flavor.
Adjust fish sauce to taste.
