2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil until evenly coated.
Sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender-crisp.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before tossing with oil and seasonings. Pat them dry thoroughly before baking.
Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
