Crispy and flavorful sweet potato fries, a healthier alternative to regular fries.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch thick sticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before tossing with oil and spices. Pat them very dry before baking.
  • Adjust seasonings to your preference. A pinch of cayenne pepper can add a little heat.
  • These fries are best served fresh.
