- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch thick sticks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before tossing with oil and spices. Pat them very dry before baking.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference. A pinch of cayenne pepper can add a little heat.
- These fries are best served fresh.
