A simple and delicious breakfast option that requires minimal prep. Strawberries and cream overnight oats combine fresh strawberries with creamy oats for a healthy, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a jar or bowl, mix oats, milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract.
  2. Add chia seeds if using and stir well.
  3. Layer half the sliced strawberries at the bottom of the jar.
  4. Pour the oat mixture over the strawberries.
  5. Top with the remaining strawberries.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  7. Stir before eating and enjoy chilled.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
