A hearty and comforting slow cooker chicken noodle soup that’s easy to prepare and perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the ingredients.
  3. Add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and shred it with two forks.
  6. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  7. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes until noodles are tender.
  8. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.

  • You can use frozen vegetables for convenience.
