A simple one-pan meal featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles cooked together for maximum flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove from pan.
  4. Add remaining butter and garlic to the pan. Cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add noodles and broth. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to pan. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use wide egg noodles for best results.
  • Chicken broth can be substituted with vegetable broth.
  • Add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
