1 cup lentils (soaked overnight)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 green chili (finely chopped)
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
Drain soaked lentils and blend into a smooth batter.
Mix in chopped onion, green chili, cumin, turmeric, salt, and cilantro.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Pour a ladle of batter and spread evenly.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
Cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
Notes
Soak lentils for at least 6 hours for best texture.
