  • 1 cup lentils (soaked overnight)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Drain soaked lentils and blend into a smooth batter.
  2. Mix in chopped onion, green chili, cumin, turmeric, salt, and cilantro.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter and spread evenly.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
  6. Cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
