  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Melt butter.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Simmer for 3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
