- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add noodles and stir to coat.
- Return chicken to the pan, cover, and cook for 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving.
