1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
12 pre-cooked mini meatballs
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 12 squares.
Press each square into a mini muffin tin cup.
Place one mini meatball in each puff pastry cup.
Spoon 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce over each meatball.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can use homemade or store-bought mini meatballs.
Adjust the amount of marinara sauce and cheese to your preference.
These cups are best served warm.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
