A delicious and juicy steak served with a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (1.5 inches thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove steak and let it rest.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Spoon sauce over steak and garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Bring steak to room temperature before cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer for desired doneness.
  • Adjust garlic to taste.
