A nutritious and delicious apple oatmeal cake perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup grated apple
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in grated apple.
  6. Pour batter into greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Let cool before serving.
