These Greek Turkey Meatballs are flavorful and light, perfect for a healthy meal. Serve them with a side of tzatziki sauce and a fresh Greek salad.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parsley, mint, onion, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. You should get about 20-24 meatballs.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite accompaniments.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • They freeze well for up to 3 months.
