A simple and delicious flatbread topped with fresh figs, cheese, and herbs. Perfect for a light meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta or goat cheese
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add water and olive oil, knead into a soft dough.
  3. Roll the dough into a thin circle.
  4. Cook in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Remove from heat and top with figs and cheese.
  6. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with thyme.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe figs for the best flavor.
  • Substitute feta with goat cheese if preferred.
  • Add a pinch of black pepper for extra spice.
