A simple and quick no-bake snack made with Cheerios and peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cheerios
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix Cheerios and chocolate chips (if using).
  3. In a small saucepan, heat peanut butter and honey over low heat until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour mixture over Cheerios and mix until fully coated.
  6. Press mixture firmly into the baking dish.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Substitute almond butter if allergic to peanuts.
  • Add dried fruit or nuts for extra texture.
