A simple and delicious baked shrimp toast recipe that’s perfect for appetizers or snacks.

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend shrimp, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Cut each bread slice into 4 triangles.
  4. Spread shrimp mixture evenly on each bread triangle.
  5. Place on a baking sheet, brush lightly with vegetable oil, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
