- 1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place bread cubes in the dish.
- Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
- Pour mixture over bread cubes. Press bread down to soak.
