A simple and delicious teriyaki chicken recipe made in a crockpot. Just dump the ingredients and let the slow cooker do the work.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred or slice.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce in the crockpot.
- Cook on high for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Serve over rice or noodles.
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
