These deviled eggs feature a creamy, tangy filling with the smoky flavor of salmon. They are perfect for appetizers or snacks.

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Halve the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the yolks into a small bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  3. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chives, and smoked salmon to the mashed yolks. Mix well until combined and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  6. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika, if desired.
  7. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a smoother filling, use a food processor to blend the yolks and other ingredients.
  • Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and mustard to your preference.
  • These deviled eggs are best served chilled.
