Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  2. Transfer steak bites to the crockpot.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the steak.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. If using cornstarch, mix it with 1 tbsp water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sliced onions or mushrooms while cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure steak reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
