- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Stir until combined.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half the cinnamon over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Brush melted butter over the top while warm.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra sweetness, sprinkle more sugar on top before baking.
- Works well with whole wheat flour.
