Cinnamon Sugar Bread

A simple and delicious cinnamon sugar bread recipe perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Stir until combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
  5. Sprinkle half the cinnamon over the batter.
  6. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon.
  7. Swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Brush melted butter over the top while warm.
  10. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra sweetness, sprinkle more sugar on top before baking.
  • Works well with whole wheat flour.
