- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over high heat. Cook the beef for 2 minutes, then remove.
- Add remaining oil, then stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan and pour in the sauce.
- Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- Slice beef when partially frozen for easier cutting.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Substitute chicken or tofu for beef if preferred.
