- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the pastry.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the cheese, pressing gently to seal.
- Cut the pastry into triangles or rectangles, about 2 inches wide at the base.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point to form a croissant shape.
- Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
