A simple yet elegant appetizer featuring salami roses and assorted charcuterie items on skewers.

Ingredients

  • 20 slices salami
  • 20 slices beef bacon ()
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 20 wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Fold each salami slice in half and roll tightly to form a rose shape.
  2. Thread one salami rose onto each skewer.
  3. Add a cherry tomato, a cube of cheddar cheese, a slice of beef bacon, and an olive to each skewer.
  4. Top with a fresh basil leaf.
  5. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use -certified beef bacon as a substitute for pork bacon.
  • Skewers can be prepped 1 hour in advance and refrigerated.
  • For extra flavor, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
