A hearty breakfast casserole combining fluffy biscuits and savory gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown sausage in a skillet, then drain.
  3. Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cut biscuits into quarters and layer in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour sausage gravy over biscuits.
  8. Whisk eggs and pour over the mixture.
  9. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until eggs are set.
