- 1 cup active sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Mix sourdough starter, warm milk, sugar, melted butter, and egg in a bowl.
- Add flour and salt, knead until smooth. Let rise for 4-6 hours.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased pan. Let rise 1-2 hours.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
