Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually add beef broth, stirring continuously.
  5. Add potatoes and bring to a simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in milk, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.
  7. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is creamy.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.

  • For a thicker soup, add more flour.
