- 12 large jalapeño peppers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 slices beef bacon
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or grill to medium heat.
- Cut each jalapeño pepper in half lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, and garlic powder.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- Wrap each filled jalapeño half with a slice of beef bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet or directly on the grill grates.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
