  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
  7. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over cooled fritters.
