A simple yet elegant appetizer featuring crisp baguette slices topped with melted Brie and apple slices, drizzled with honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 apple (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. Top each slice with Brie and apple slices.
  5. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a firm apple to prevent sogginess.
