Quick and easy cinnamon rolls made with sourdough discard, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix sourdough discard, flour, sugar, salt, milk, and melted butter to form a dough.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 8 pieces.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use active sourdough discard for best results.
  • Adjust sugar and cinnamon to taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
